Recently at the Exhibition Center Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, an international
specialized exhibition Power Gen India 2009 was held. About 200 companies
working in the different branches of fuel & energy complex participated in
the event, including our main competitors General Electric, Siemens, Alstom,
Pratt-Whitney, Rolls-Royce, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Centrex, etc. Such attention to
the energy market of India is based on its dynamical development. According to
the 11th Five-Year Plan of the India energetics development it is planned to put
a number of electric power stations into operation whose total power is more
than 78700 MW. New gas pipe-lines construction is also stipulated by the plan,
which is of great interest to us.
During the exhibition 150 power engineering specialists visited our plant's
stand. Negotiations with a number of potential customers were held. According to
their results Zorya-Mashproekt got some business proposals to sign contracts for
cooperation and joint activity at the Indian energy market and also to
participate in two tenders for 16 MW gas turbines supply which will be used for
power production and in turbo-expanders at the metallurgical works.
